Before Dwyane Wade was raising eyebrows in South Beach, he was a First Team All-American at Marquette University. So it was no surprise when the Jordan Brand announced an endorsement deal with the school soon after signing Wade last summer. For the last couple seasons, the Golden Eagles have been fitted with Jordan footwear and apparel, the latest gift being this player exclusive colorway of the Air Jordan 2010 Team.
Shown off by current guard Darius Johnson-Odom, the Marquette PE features a heavily perforated white leather upper, complimented by navy blue hits on the inner liner, tongue and midsole. Varsity maize joins in on the tongue padding and outsole. The word "Marquette" is written along the eyestay.
Look for these on the court when Marquette tips off the new college basketball season against Prairie View A & M on November 12th.
